Elvis Gautreaux, a real estate agent in Utah married to a former TV star, dies for 10 minutes when he is struck by lightning. The year is 2008, the real estate market is tanking, his wife is pregnant, and he is shortly thereafter called as a modern-day apostle for Jesus. Elvis is aided in his mission by a German Elvis Tribute Artist and David Hasselhof. When Elvis's wife leaves him, he is thrown into a battle to win her back before their baby is born, and in the process battles forces of darkness and evil at the Sundance Film Festival.
